Yeah, it is definitely that, but I think in context it’s fine in that spot. Like I said, if anyone who has seen it thinks I should take it down, @ me and I’ll delete it.
I’m fine with it because you’re quoting the show.
Here’s some context. I guess it’s probably technically a spoiler, but I don’t think it really gives anything away.
Line check is basically a poker reference. You post a hand you played and the line you took and see if everyone agrees with how you played it. It may predate poker, but that was where I first encountered it.

I may have been quitting after S1. It’s been years since I’ve tried a rewatch. But this might be the reason I didn’t like the show. Huge non-fan of episodic TV outside of stuff that is truly self contained like Black Mirror. I’m willing to give it another shot as I’ve watched 98% of finished TV shows that are worth it. Will just start with S2 this time and see if I change my mind.
Speaking of which has anyone said Black Mirror? (Checking Risky’s list it seems like no).
Yeah S2 of Justified is GOAT. “I kicked a hornet’s nest last night…”
Questioning whether I should add Blue Eye Samurai? Its an incredible show but only 1 season released out of at least 2, and likely 4
Go ahead imo. Some shows are doubtful to take the #1 spot, but it’s the matchups along the way that are the most fun. Imagine if it went up against Arcane.
That would be tough though I know where my current nod would be.
Fine fuck it.
Blue Eye Samurai

Scavengers Reign

Sheldon: My new computer came with Windows 7
pause for laugh track chuckles
Sheldon: Windows 7 is much more user friendly than Windows Vista
pause for laugh track chuckles
Sheldon: I don’t like that
LOL
The joke isn’t Windows. Sheldon hates change. The fact that something that insignificant bothers him is the joke.
I’ll second the Buffy nomination.
When Buffy first came out I dismissed it out of hand. About ten years later I had just started dating the woman that would become my wife when she said, “We should watch Buffy, I think you’d like it.”
WTF? This woman that claims to know and like me is suggesting I watch the cheerleader vampire show? I agreed just so I’d have grounds to break up with her. My expectations couldn’t have been more in the red, so maybe my fondness for it is based on how much it exceeded expectations, but I’ll stand by my nom.
Well yeah but I mean all sitcoms had that before GOAT OFFICE changed television as we know it right? Even when “filmed before I live studio audience,” the studios sat like 20 people and half of them are dumb so they thought they had to do something to make it seem funnier.
TBBT had better-than-average writing, good actors, and a new, believable concept. It’s no Curb or GOAT Office but it belongs at the table imo.
SMG was my life crush from the first episode until she married that nerd. I put it right up there with MASH in terms of TV series based on a movie that just completely outclassed the film on every level.
Sitcoms with a laugh track as a whole are just an enormously flawed television genre. They all suck imo. Take the lack tracks out and they aren’t even funny for the most part.
