Outside of Dark this competition completely ignores all the great TV that isn’t in English as well. I didn’t even nomimate any of these shows because whats the point. For those of you guys who haven’t already watched 98% of these shows I’m intensely jealous tbh. I still spend a lot of time 10 tabling PLO with a tv show going on half my viewing area. So I’ve basically finished TV for all intents and purposes and have rewatched all the greats, sometimes multiple times.

As someone who hasn’t seen many non-English TV shows (I think it’s really just Dark and Squid Game and a few anime here and there), I’d like to see a list of your favorites.
I seriously don’t know how you can do that. I have trouble watching any TV while doing something else unless it’s sports or wrestling.

Im more curious how he does it with foreign shows. That seems beyond impossible.

PLO is on autopilot at this point.
As to the foreign shows most are dubbed and I do that if I’m playing or save the subtitled ones for when I’m not.
Will work on a list of best foreign TV when I have more time. A few I have watched recently and really liked were Alice in Borderland, Suburra Blood on Rome, Undercover and The Head.

IASIP vs True Detective is also brutal. Both fine shows, but given what has already been eliminated, both are kind of a joke.

75% GOAT tho. I’m willing to ignore the last season or two for how good it was going on several years.
And I realize this is inspiring the ire of Beetlejuice, but I think it’s better than Twin Peaks and voted accordingly.
Put it up against Mad Men or something though and I think it gets crushed.

This. It’s a dead heat. Reluctantly gave nod to Mad Men as it’s probably my favorite of all time and I anticipate more will favor The Wire but could just as easily have gone the other way.
