It’s just now starting to make its way around. Just in case any of my fellow Oklahomans want to go to the welcome home gathering, it is now at 6:15 tomorrow night at Norman High School. Norman mayor Breea Clark is coordinating everything now. The team is expected back from the title game between 6:30 and 7:00.

My kid is at their girlfriend’s and I have to go pick them up midday, so I am not in for tomorrow.

Probably. I got a DSA email about a protest there this morning. Probably too late this weekend.

I’m feeling like altering my protest/activism plans even more. I’ll have my second shot on April 15th. Maybe after we are both vaccinated we can organize more of a UP effort for Food Not Bombs? Maybe we can even try to get some food that’s not just salad or salad turned into soup?

I’m in. As everybody here knows, the homeless situation in Los Angeles has totally exploded. I’d love to be taking some direct collective action to help our fellow humans.

Tonight would be a better time for me to go to Echo Park than tomorrow and there will probably be more action at night. My only reservation is the covidness of it.
