Lots of people have been assholes here from time to time. You and I included. That doesnāt put you on the chopping block and isnāt why simp got got. Iāll ask the same question from yesterday. If I was posting anti-black posts and using the N word day after day for years and years at what point is that not ok? That is what simp was doing and it was majorly fucked up. The people continuing to defend it are not an unsurprising bunch but you realize how bad it looks certainly right?

Thanks and I know some people support me even in my endless arguments like this, but itās polarizing and I think the association with the whole team (Captains) would be bad for electability. And I know from meeting posters irl who arenāt involved in the endless bickeringā¢ that some people are surprised that Iām not a raging maniac.

My perception is that you have always been a rational and not overly confrontational poster with some limited exceptions (ikes who I also have been driven crazy by so I get it). Iāve seen you post argumentative things lots of times where you didnāt get personal and just posted your point of view and I think most people here respect that. Hell you have told me where I was wrong a ton of times over the years and you have at least made me actually think about it rather than getting mad that someone was telling me that I was wrong. I think you are a smart and valuable member here even if we donāt agree on everything.

For the record, I think Simp deserved to get banned for his posts, but not permaāed. The way it went down with a new mod nuking him within her first hour in office is disrespectful to the community, the same way it was when Meb did it back in the day.
Really though this forum is way too past its prime to care much about any of that. I just made a silly animal farm analogy yesterday and got roped into defending it.

simp got years worth of warnings and wouldnāt stop. No one was asking him to stop being a bigot just stop posting it all the time into a multitude of threads. He didnāt respect this forum or itās memberās wishes and that is what got him banned. I completely disagree with you that Riskyās actions were disrespectful to the community. They were what the community wanted overall and Risky explicitly stated in her pre-election posting that it was coming should she be elected. She was elected at more than a 90% clip.

6ix also mono posts, goes on endless tangents and was unable to let even the seemingly most minor perceived slight go. Even though he had good posts the bad far outweighed the bad for me, and I imagine quite a few others, given the endless bans and new accounts. Maybe I only noticed this behavior after the original Forum Warz ā¢ and he started not giving a f, I dunno.
