like I said, another mod can hide my post again, don’t really care. @moderators have at it. I thought I was being transparent and offering the offended party retribution if he wanted it. A hidden post is meaningless, but a ban means something, and that’s what I offered to the offended party.

I was offended and reported your post. You can ban yourself for 48 hours and I’ll get over it.
Your feelings aside, the bottom line is you don’t get to make that call on your own posts.

like I said, moderators are free to hide that post, ban me, whatever. Probably I should be permanently banned for Logan Roy dot youtube. I thought I was clearing up the issue with the person I directed the post to directly.
Though I disagreed with your op and kind of wanted to get in there and mix it up, you posted an opinion with content, and I entered the thread with a kind of drive-by low content keeeed comment, and it was totally fine with me to tell me to f off there. I think we have enough history now that you’d know it’s nbd to me. I have no special say about the propriety of hiding or unhiding something; whatever it’s worth, I don’t think it’s a hanging offense. Sorry to have somehow been the start of a thing here. Fight it out if you’all must, but to all, maybe we just move on and get 'em on something else :)

No need for that. You offered up to a week. It was a violation fo your new rule. I accept your offer. Seems 1 or 2 days is appropriate, I’ll accept either as one of the offended parties who reported your post.

Or in the alternative, you can admit your new rule is fucking stupid, and withdraw it, since Commonwealth should be able to ask Jalfrezi to be kind or ignore him.
Impeachment isn’t usually replaced by or followed by jail. The issue is that you can’t be trusted with authority.

Just wondering if you ever followed the advice someone else posted to do a little introspection as to why your mod hat was removed after years of naked abuse of mod privilege?
what do you mean? I unhid the post, then said what I did and asked smrk what he wanted me to do about it.
Like, is unhiding a post a big deal? Anyone can click on it and see what it is. Who cares? And, in fact, any moderator can take action on that post right now. They can ban me, I’ll abide by it even if the software doesn’t allow it.
