Every successful politician at the federal level is good in small groups. I’ve interacted with a number of Florida politicians in informal settings and they are all socially competent despite what they look like on TV
Most of the time the spotlight was on her she came across as stiff, weird, and phony. The only time I remember when she seemed relatable/authentic was when she was sitting through 11 hours of Benghazi questioning
Yeah, I think Hillary is at her “best” when she’s not trying to be charismatic and just comes across as an experienced, competent politico who’s been in the game for decades. All of Hillary’s advisors told her she needed to be more “likeable” and say stuff like “Pokemon Go to the polls!” and it all came of as completely inauthentic and cringe. She was never going to win with charisma, esp against Barack Obama.
Barak Obama as VP pick is an interesting choice because it would force the media to spend months litigating if he’s even allowed to be VP, and that’s probably better than focusing on the dumpster fire that is this campaign.
My guess is should would pick Corey Booker for the ultimate off-putting vibes ticket.
Couldn’t a person, in theory, run as the VP having a puppet President and then have the President resign over and over every election cycle?
I regret to inform you that there will be malarkey this year.
Walp, we’re right fucked, then.
Not necessarily. He might die.
Not great Bob!
i’m not necessarily a doomer or anything, but if he’s saying he’s going to “fight” then he needs to show that. we should be having “friday’s with Biden” or something every week where he is speaking publicly in addition to the rallies that no one sees.
Are there actually rallies?
I have to hand it to the Dems, their ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory never ceases to amaze, even after all these years. They are going into an election against Donald Trump, and the election will be a referendum on whether the Dem nominee is fit for office.
Holy shit, that’s 538’s best pollster, not some Rasmussen crap.
I can never tell if people are serious when they talk about Michelle Obama running for president. I guess serious, but uhh, it’s not a sane idea.
