2024 US Presidential Election (Taylor's Version)

That absolutely sounds like some thumb on the scale shit. Stein was on my ballot. And Harris being the only candidate on page 2 is such horseshit. I’m sure they’ll say it’s a randomized order, but I absolutely do not believe that in a state run by Republicans.

It’s OH-IO. It doesn’t matter. Trump could be in a caption on the envelope that holds the ballot and still win.

I mean yeah, seems obvious. Who is supposed to stop it and how? FBI can’t even get Elon to stop talking about murdering Harris.

He was primed to dislike the interview.

Different interview, but still.

It’s very funny that Trump still watches and clearly cares about network TV news shows and coverage. He’s so hopping mad that he’s on OAN and not the one in the mainstream legacy news spotlight.

Yea, Senate, issue 1, and a few local things are all that matter for us.

Are you at least blanketed with what the correct vote is? Sounds like they really tried to make the ballot measure confusing.

Welp.

For a guy who won the last debate, he’s awfully mad.

Quinnipiac doing something funky for those swongs.

Yeah I don’t have any theories. They’re historically a quality pollster, so I can’t just hand-wave a poll I don’t like, but I agree that the swing is crazy enough that at least one of the data points simply had to be a miss at its point of release. Hopefully it’s this latest one.

NatetheGreat says that though pollsters are theoretically supposed to just take a random sample and publish the results, many pollsters will toss out or massage the results if their sample produces a “funky” result. He respects the outlets that publish their “funky” results and thinks they are good for his averaging the polls method.

In this weeks episode of LOL poker players:

My buddy kept telling me he was “concerned” about Harris, even though he claims to be a Trump->Harris switcher after Biden dropped. One of the “I hate politics now” types.

I pressed him on his biggest concern: “Woke culture” changing fictional characters in stories he likes.

That’s it.

This is a 35 year old man who used to watch Stewart/Colbert with me every night and hated Bush Jr. Tried to explain the privilege inherent from his answer, and talked about the history of “woke” and how the right co-opted the term. But I know it didn’t change his mind in the slightest. It’s so fucking frustrating.

There is likely more, he just knows (either consciously or instinctually) not to say it.

Likely true of course. He is a huge anime fan though so it wouldn’t surprise me if this was legitimately his #1 issue

Definitely the mid 30s single white guy playbook these days: Moderate but hate politics, definitely not a Trumper but just can’t vote for Harris because reasons. Gays are ok but god forbid if you have to interact with a trans person.

Especially since there really should be that big differences along the rest belt. I think other recent polls in those states plus NV have been stable at Harris +1ish and GA NC and AZ +1ish Trump.

Makes me want to vomit. We got 1-11 on the 20 sided die right and no rolling it twice.
