60 Minutes has been wack its entire existence but somehow for decades had an ironclad reputation among like 95% of USAians as the most unbiased arbiter of truth since Walter Cronkite
To say nothing of Cronkite’s obvious in hindsight biases (and I’m sure obvious to the people at the time who applied nonzero criticism to mainstream USA hegemony)
