Does kind of suck that the best indicators we have, the economic fundamentals, are so favorable to Biden that we’re probably even further along into the “we nominated the only person who could lose to Trump” than we were with Hillary.

i’m SSC too, though i thought biden would promise to resign in favor of kamala within six months of inauguration or something. keeps the ticket on ballots, does not upend primary results, keeps the campaign money already raised, the message is to vote for the platform not the man. for those who don’t follow politics, the incumbency edge (if real) should be preserved. at the same time makes kamala as the most desirable surrogate in the media.
