He basically knew one fairly simple piece of information that was insanely valuable at the time he knew it. That is how he won 90% of what he won gambling. He then multiplied that wealth manyfold via crypto.

Every time I see a clip of this show, I think about the sports radio stations that do simulcasts with a station in another city before a big rivalry game, and it’s usually just a couple hours of four or five people yelling over each other at the same time such that you don’t actually hear what any individual says.

It’s still relevant for gambling I do and not everyone knows (although quite a few people do), so I won’t say. But imagine you knew that home field advantage was a thing and nobody else on the planet realized this, how easy it would be to make money gambling.
It’s pretty funny that he got a job with the Mavericks for a while because I don’t really think he knows that much about the NBA. I mean yeah he looked into it a bunch and had a good statistical understanding of it, but when it came to offering actual insights I’m not sure what he had. It’s good to shoot three pointers and the corner is ideally the best place to shoot from? No way HBob, groundbreaking.

I’m not sure if I’m approaching SSC territory, but if Trump loses a close election the MSG rally will end up being a massive unforced error.
I have no idea what to make of the polls right now other than they seem all over the place but aggregate out to a close race. If they’re that close, and Trump loses the latino vote because he massively insulted them in the final 10 days of the campaign, just wow.

I think it will look like that if and only if he loses a close race in PA which costs him the election. The chance of that is small, but real.
Yeah I’ve had that thought as well. It’s not likely, but could be possible. In reality he’s just a lazy comedian that realized he can get a cheap laugh by saying racist stuff under the facade of being a joke and the racists will applaud it. A lot of these MAGAs are so detached from reality and the average swing voter that they don’t realize the damage they can do by punching down at groups whose votes they actually need.
