Yeah and the next question is was everyone a vegetarian back then? Chicken way, way up. Turkey way up. Beef up. Pork flat to slightly up. What are they replacing? Fish? Or is it just portion size?
More efficient production = less expensive + more available
Looks like weve gone from about 100 pounds to 160 pounds per capita. Serving sizes and less overall hunger in the states seems to make the most sense.
Chicken was leaner back then and took months to raise unlike today’s go to the store buy all you want cause they’re just fattened up.
We take for granted what they didn’t have 100 years ago, not everything was just walk into the store and it’s there and you can buy it if you want.
meat as a diet is about the first place people spend it if they have some extra money.

As an undecided voter I am sad that he will miss the debate, but this one on one discussion may be a better format for Trump to outline his vision for the country and a second term in office.
