I haven’t seen the ads in question but some of those games rack in crazy cash so I assume they are trying to leverage it. Or they are just wasting money.

Eye glasses have to be highest priced item on earth. It’s crazy how much they cost for what they are!!! The margin has to be massive.

I’m sure it’s gotten new life in the instagram age, but the “holistic vision” stuff has been around for a while.
For some reason I was aware of this book when it came out in the mid 90s. I really wanted it to be real but I knew it was not.

Can’t you just get new lenses put in your frames? I’ve had like 2 pairs in the past 20 years so I’m not up on the eye glass game.
I did. Still cost 900
I opted for high end progressives. No new frame. Never had progressives before. Hope I didn’t make mistake. Heard mixed things.
First ones I had cost an iPad, a loaded iPad, not one of those budget iPads. Next set I got at Costco and cost $300 all in. Shop around.

What is uber doing? The fee is only once per day, I’m guessing they’ll just charge everyone the $9, reimburse the driver once, and keep the rest?

What did you have before? Where are you getting these made??? $930 seems insane for progressives, my progressives lenses are like $200 with no insurance at Costco.
