I feel this is unfair to harris. I donât really care for her given her long history with the state of Cauli-foynya (schwartzenegger accent), but she only had 90 days really to mount a campaign against a very well funded and very perplexing political opponent and considerable structural obstacles to her winning. The fumble was letting biden run at all in the first place, and I place that squarely on this party if they lose. The corpse of Bernie would have won. Kamala would have wafflecrushed, if she campaigned a year ago. But, here we are.
The next four years are going to be beyond insufferable if this doesnât break our way.

I had to leave my apartment due to dust from demolition of a wall after a water leak so now Iâm sitting at the library scrolling this thread and pondering the possible futures until they kick me out. Election night isnât going great but still holding onto hope.

Hard disagree on that. Tons of Kamalaâs EV came from the fact that Trump was attacking Biden non-stop for years and she got subbed in at the end. Arguably, she does worse if she was the presumptive nominee earlier.
Of course, Kamala never gets out of a competitive primary. I do agree that the blame is on Joe and everyone who backed Joe and ratfucked Bernie. They went with a guy who could only win once.

Biden does better in the South than Harris. Just because sheâs black doesnât mean Southern Democrats like her more than they like Biden. Harrisâ good news is all coming from the North/Rust Belt.
