Think 99% thats been posted about the election after the fact are trying to find narratives that aren’t really there. Trump got same nr of votes as 2020 so didnt run some magical super campaign and dems got like 10m fewer votes because they stink. Maybe run something that isnt republican light and do some actually progressive shit…oh i forgot 90% of the party doesn’t even care that they lost as long as they can keep grifting.

Yeah that’s the real issue with the post mortem I posted (not the thing about the arts… the idea the arts aren’t central to culture and resistance is some polysci-brained shit).
The main thing that happened is Dems gave up. It speaks to a cultural rot that Dems gave up and Trumpkins didn’t, but it’s not so profound like everyone turned out in greater numbers than before and this is what we picked.
