Jonathan Vilma makes no sense. As the Packers were lining up do go for it on 4th and 2 from the Saints’ 40-something, he said they should punt (lol). His reasoning was that the Packers played good defense on the first drive, so if they pin the Saints deep, they can get the ball back in good field position.
If you think their defense can hold them, shouldn’t you go for it and not worry about field position if you don’t get the first?
Then, in the meantime, they drew up a good play on 4th, but just messed it up. When the Saints scored, he was all like, “See? I was right. Short field.”
The deep ball has been his weakness so far in the little time he’s played.
it’s hard for some people to understand you actually can use all four downs and punting is just a strategy saying your offense sucks balls
