Ok wait what the heck that was horrible. How you gonna have Sting and Phil Collins there and skip the intro, then drown out Knopfler’s guitar with a 100 piece band. Sting could barely sing his part at the end too. Had to listen to the real version after to cleanse myself.

Harmony for the whole song, too. He has a pretty distinctive voice, though maybe I think it’s obvious because I remember when the song came out (the video, lol)…maybe they talked about it more then? Or maybe it’s because Sting was everywhere then and I just knew his voice. Who knows.

Got another one for you if you like Rage Against The Machine at all. In Know Your Enemy from their debut album, the lines “I got no patience now, so sick of complacence now” etc at around 2:38 are sung by Maynard James Keenan of Tool. RATM’s album was released some six months before Tool’s debut album Undertow.

Yeah same weird huh, I instantly knew who it was too, but like you said he was everywhere, The Police had just split and the first Dune had already come out and flopped and everything. It was like with this song, you knew who sang the chorus without ever needing to see him

According to KLM I still am as of now. If you look at the forecast, it’s just tons of rain but winds not exceeding 10 mph. Not sure what that does to planes.

We took a tour at a wolf sanctuary yesterday and they said wolves can eat animals that have chronic wasting disease with zero issues.
Read this thread… problem with housing and etc in the bay area is not development.
