I think this is one of Apple’s good ideas, it’s a first move in the direction of not having the user completely cut off from the real world. I think this tech ultimately has to be something that can be used to augment reality, not be a Metaverse style immersion into a world of toxic make believe.
I mean you know the visor will inevitably be converting homeless people into gardens or some shit. Grey skies to blue.
And it will be toxic fantasy made MORE available, not less. Now it will be easier to not run into things when walking, while continuing your metaverse experience instead of being forced to take a break from it to walk from Point A to B
