One morningâs plans involved getting up early to attend a famed local thrift shop. âThere will be linesâ I was told and the deals would be so amazing that I would have to agree.
I very much enjoy thrift store shopping and legendary stories so it was a bummer when it turned out, in fact, the deals were not plentiful that day.
However, all books were only a dollar and I gave what they had a cursory glance and picked up a hardback copy of Jane Eyre and what looked like a cheap book version of my favorite Miyazaki film.
Take a guess how much this is actually worth now.
Update: first edition but not a first printing. Probably more like 300-500 as opposed to 1K - 2K. Checking that number line felt like ripping packs.
