We need to shut down Christianity until we figure out what the hell is going on

I need a full Wilford Brimley version.

The real story here, which is the one that gets told repeatedly in all of these incidents, is how casinos are basically sanctioned mafia enterprises that control the police and the courts. With no evidence at all of cheating, they are able to command police to arrest the players, search them, seize all devices, and withhold payment. Also, the way these stories are generally written about floor staff and mangers “looking on nervously” while someone wins tens of thousands of pounds in a place where millions of pounds are routinely won by the house is pure dogshit. Reminds me of all those awful Darren Rovell tweets and ESPN articles about Vegas “losing big” on some single bet which is an obvious ad for casinos who are not fucking losing anything.

I’m in Dublin for the Irish poker open and staying (at great expense) near the venue in the somewhat posh district that happen to contain various embassies. Thought it was quite amusing to compare the Italian embassy

To the US embassy which is just a few buildings down

One just a chill cute house the other fort fucking Knox. I feel like I’m probably on some list just for taking that photo lol.

I have such mixed feelings about brutalism.

I remember the British Embassy in Belgrade being a bit heavy on security too. Has to vibe with America’s embassy there I guess.

Meanwhile, the DRC’s Embassy in Prague is a rented flat in Old Town lol

This seems like more than Sting gets for the original version

I have seen some calculations and all told he makes crazy money every day from that one song. Pretty sure it was five figures.

He could live a lavish life from that one song.

The prosecutor may agree. Charges against the YouTube doofus are being considered.

According to a new report from WUSA9 , Colie’s public defender Adam Pouilliard said Cook “antagonized” his client, adding that Colie was “targeted, harassed, accosted, and followed” by Cook in the Dulles Town Center Mall. The nature of the prank involved Cook using Google Translate to play the phrase “I think you smell,” as Colie was in the mall to pick up a DoorDash order, according to Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office detective Katie Mitchell. Deputy Commonwealth Attorney Anthony Needham said Colie told Cook to “leave him alone” and even swatted the phone out of his face, but Cook was “as close as six inches away” when Colie pulled a gun out of his vest and fired inside the mall. Colie was denied bond, according to WUSA9.

Man, how shitty do you have to be to have people be nodding along and going “Maybe the shooter wasn’t so bad here.”

Yeah I don’t have much sympathy for the prankster.

Prank channels were over 10 years ago too. Dumbass is way in the past.

I’m fine with giving them both a stern talking to, taking that dude’s guns and calling it even.

What if congress attached legislation making YouTube prank videos illegal to a gun control bill, could get bipartisan support.

Smart never to assume anything.

Especially something that would handcuff you financially to a human writing down a cause of death.

Coverups are a thing.

The tiktok bill probably allows them to ban prank videos.

I get tests for fentanyl back that quickly. The actual test doesn’t take that long to do. Just requires capacity to do the tests and actually reporting it

I am honest to God ready to ship upwards of $20 to Colie’s gofund me page. Some people just deserve to get shot at.
