The left says that people underestimate gaps in civil rights today, and the left identifies how there is a commonality between the 1950s and the 2020s in terms of the way the culture encourages denial of these problems. To people like you who are invested in narratives of professional victims crying wolf, this sounds like âthings are as bad or worseâ because you have some serious mental blocks.

Seems to me that Israeli society has moved further to the right. Not so much due to Oct 7, but in response to the subsequent war and associated propaganda.

The problem, as always, with these children is that they view the world as children do: selfishly, naively, and, somehow, self-aggrandizingly. This is why they say things like Israel Is Doing The Real Holocaust, and Prison Is Slavery.

Like most far right parties that gain traction in the wider public, this Swedish party has polished the turd enough (like e.g. Marie Le Pen is trying to do/has done with National Front/Rally in France) to appear respectable, including weeding out the most unsavory elements in their ranks and cleaning up their party program. Not very surprised.
Plus they both have the political aim of forcing all Jews to move to Israel.
