Iâd start with a list of Republicans who voted to certify in 2020. A public declaration that Biden won fairly should be a condition for any deal.
Yeah, just pick someone who certified and impeached Trump but thats probably a very short list.
I have also filed to be the next Speaker of the House.
There are only two Republicans still in the House who voted for the second impeachment, which is why I widened it to voting to certify.
Even if Rs can somehow ram somebody through today, the shitshow ainât over.
I think its only Dan Newhouse left who certified and impeached?
David Valadao, the other Republican for impeachment, likely would have voted to certify, but he missed out because he had COVID and wasnât sworn in.
This is a reasonable shortlist of acceptable Republicans.
I support this.
When they say home do they mean their district or their dc house?
Valadao is interesting, his district borders McCarthyâs but is a lot bluer, represents a lot of non citizens and non voters. Probably owes his seat to McCarthy bucks and is a natural ally. About as âmoderateâ of an R as you can find but not likely to be a usurper.
Valadao has been barely winning elections, so I wouldnât want to make him Speaker if it gives him a better chance at re-election.
Looks about right.

It was a tragic death.
Can Larry Nassar be speaker?
Is Noot Greengrinch available?
