I donât think the Freedom Caucus would cave even if they knew that Jeffries would be Speaker over McCarthy. They hate RINOs more than Democrats. And they hate caving most of all.
Even if they do cave, it would make the whole caucus look weak. Mr. Plurality.
Does any of this make people re-think their position on whether the Progressive Caucus should be more like the Freedom Caucus?

Why let these idiots implode and maybe have a chance of fucking McCarthy with a more moderate speaker? Aint nobody got time to sit there all day. Will be maddening if this occurs.
It doesnât look like a moderate R is an option unless the Ds cut a deal with some Rs. The most likely options seem to be McCarthy or someone more conservative.
The problem with leaving is a rule change pushed through quickly might bail out McCarthy.
