2023-2024 House of Representatives Shitshow Containment: MAGA Mike XXS

This is exactly how dumb dems are. I’d say it’s at least 10% it ends that way.

Lol adjourned with basically no opposition

Recess until tomorrow approved by voice vote.

Called it. Gutless fucks.

Not very common especially on days when they’re carrying out regular business. But, when ceremonial stuff is happening like the beginning of a new session, getting sworn in, etc., kids/family will sometimes come for the photo op

Right, and endless hearings about the LAPTOP FROM HELL are exactly what they want.

Why would he delete such a perfect tweet?

They wasted a whole day when they were so eager to hit the ground running or whatever cliche with their glorious agenda of taking it to the libs. What a shame.

Adds to the mystique.

Also, Streisand effect.

I feel like the Streisand effect is a good thing here if the goal is to out a fraud and maybe try and get him to resign.

Truly astounding literally anyone gets in bed with this guy. In exchange for election denial and providing immunity from trying a coup McCarthy gets this.

Did I just mishear or is CNN suggesting that a compromise speaker will come from outside the house?

Bret Baier: “you’re not saying dipshits like McCarthy don’t want border security?”

Boebert: “yes, yes I am, Kent.”

Is that Liz Cheney’s music?

Let the record reflect.

It really is fascinating to watch - I think a lot of these holdouts have absolutely nothing to lose if this stalemate continues, so there’s no reason to think it will end soon.

Too bad people’s lives are affected by this nonsense.

The advantage to a recess is it guarantees this won’t get resolved today and stretches out the story.

Can the House do anything without a speaker? What did they do back in the 1800s when it took 2 months to confirm?
