I wonder if Gaetz and Co are savvy enough to have a few committed non-McCarthy fans vote for McCarthy in the few 2 or 3 rounds and then “flip” in the 3rd and 4th, to make it look like momentum is going against McCarthy.

I would have very much liked the Progressive Caucus to have negotiated a similar level of concessions to what these clowns already got from McCarthy before today’s shit show. Today’s nonsense just shows they had leverage to (threaten to) weaken the speaker and could have used it better. Obviously you have to have a goal and know when to say yes unlike the current clown circus.
