If I recall, Hellmuth’s entrance is usually sponsored. I bet he doesn’t have to pay for the costumes and this year he couldn’t find a sponsor and had to pay and thus decided to be cheap.
How much will people pay Hellmuth to have him use a costume that makes fun of him without him realizing it?

Does “I am altering the deal” work if you get it in against him as an underdog and suck out?
I’m imagining Helmuth calling up a costume shop and them telling him they have a nice Darth Vader he can rent. Then he shows up an hour before he needs to be at the wsop and sees it for the first time and is horrified, but he doesn’t feel like he can back out because he already self promoted on twitter. So he goes to the wsop in spandex, on tilt from the costume, and spews it off.

Yeah a lot of pros take a day or two off before the Main to recharge after a long summer.
Not sure about that one.
