Winning the House means Dems can do a sequel to the January 6 committee. Whether they would be more motivated to use that for political gain is the question. Itâs also more likely that Congress will actually pass the bare minimum needed to keep the government running, which isnât a given with Republicans in charge. Dems will be back to passing whatever Joe Manchin approves and they really deserve a lot of credit for probably pushing Manchin close to as far to the left as possible.
Trump might not be ranting at McCarthy because Steve Scalise might end up Speaker. If you expect inflation to come down naturally, then Republicans can point to control of the House and ability to block Democrats as the reason why.
Wanting to lose the House would be severe FPS.
