I agree with this, but if someone (doesn’t seem like these people) is going hard in the paint about how Plan B kills embryos, then they are going to need to be able to discuss the mechanism to some extent. Generally, those people can’t do it either.

I think the nuance she is going for is trying to distinguish the difference between contraception and abortion, which understanding doesn’t require knowledge of the actual medical mechanics of Plan B. She’s doesn’t bring it home though.

I thought it it went ovulation → intercourse → insemination. I was definitely not aware that post-intercourse ovulation results in pregnancy, I thought the egg already had to be there.
Also did not know that it can take up to 5 or 6 days for the sperm and the egg to meet.
