Dentistry is a racket and surprisingly little of it is evidence-based. You should obviously get your teeth checked every once in awhile for cavities and whatnot, but the frequent cleanings and x-rays and scaling and such are primarily done to make boat payments.

They have billboards all over Austin to everyone’s great amusement.
The tone of that commercial isn’t even very positive for Ohio, it has more of a “Get Out” vibe to it. RUN TECH BRO RUN!

While I don’t necessarily disagree with you because flipping Ohio blue would change everything. We’re fucked if that’s what it takes though. It is very hard for me to imagine someone born and raised in Seattle would voluntarily move to anywhere in Ohio. The other cohort I think they are trying to target is those that drained the brain of their rural midwestern towns and left to Seattle in search of high paying jobs (tech jobs). Moving back to the Midwest for these people is a sign of failure and must be avoided at all costs.
