meh, idk, the idea that extreme long-distance running turns out to be bad for you doesn’t seem that implausible to me

sample size of one but my dad was a triathlete and died very young to heart disease

doesn’t seem implausible but i dont see much evidence there

Well their research says it’s good for women, bad for men.
I would be more likely to assume the other behaviors of the men are the factor in this difference.

The most recognizable difference between the US and rest of the world is how well old people live here and the incredible amount of subsidy given to them by an ever growing poorer younger generation who themselves have little hope of receiving the same benefits due to the ponzi scheme being non sustainable.

I agree that it’s unlikely to be bad for one and good for the other fwiw

To be fair, many of the apartment buildings that were erected 100 years ago were death traps.

Oh shit I forgot the ping pong bats. We’ve booked the table for an hour you dope. Well I’ve got a football in the car. Hmmmm…

It’s pretty cool. Ronaldinho got in on it like 5 years ago and now it’s becoming big.

The new research into the vascular health of endurance athletes, funded by the British Heart Foundation and Cardiac Risk in the Young, is not yet peer-reviewed, and the discrepancy between men and women has not been explained.

I think we all learned properly from the COVID thread that British scientists are just a bunch of morons.

I’m just having a laugh, don’t @ me

This is literally Calvinball, isn’t it?

Not really. In Calvinball, the rules are made up as you go along.

I guess it’s similar in wording to the rules that Calvinball can’t be played with the same rules twice

Looks like a made-up game for a scene in the new Star Trek movie.

Is this the thread for misc politics?

This is perfect Florida. Due to scams and climate change, homeowners insurance is borderline unobtainable.

I assume it should be in the lol law thread, but shouldn’t those lawyers be punished?
