2022 LC Thread—New Year, New Thread

The other one of value, I think, is a ‘94-‘95 Pinnacle “Masks” Patrick Roy card. There’s one on eBay listed at $350.

The card I have has been screwed into a plastic covering for 25 years, so it’s in very good shape.

Told this story before, but I once got a knock on my door from an IRS agent who informed me I owed the IRS more money than I had made in my life.

Hustler Casino messed up the decimal point on a jackpot.

Oh and may have ignored some letters.

eBay is usually the best way to sell single cards, either yourself or through a consignor.

Re baseball cards: I have a few complete box sets from 87-92 that have been living at my Dad’s house that he wants me to take back. I don’t have any desire to keep them. Is there a general rule of thumb about whether it’s better to just pull the few higher value cards and sell those as one offs vs just selling the whole set? If I break the set, is there any residual value in the randoms or anything that can be done with them beyond trashing them?

Seems like a very healthy relationship

If there was one category of human beings I despise most, it is professional youtuberz. Especially this fucking guy:

anyone else have blackeyed peas for their new year’s day meal?

That sounds so 2008
