wtf the dude was trying to get off the car a few seconds in when the driver first stopped and then he kept going to keep him on. Eventually, he fell off.
Figured the large contingent of folks from Ohio here should be able to judge the accuracy of this.

They mostly nailed it. Except for the last guy, who is obviously a Brooklyn hipster, otherwise everything seems legit. That is we do in Ohio with fight clubs in the woods and whatnot.
not sure what is going on with the woman in a face mask drinking a heineken. not ohio at all
brooklyn hipster is obviously cosplaying as someone who left ohio for brooklyn and is back for fourth of july or thanksgiving
Hipster guy moved from Brooklyn to gentrify downtown Dayton.
Weird to me that kids from Poland have even heard of Ohio, much less know enough to acquit themselves so well. Don’t they have video games there or something?
High schoolers here have geography classes where they learn about countries that aren’t their own. Would be surprising if Polish schools didn’t have that either.
Plus America gets around.
I thought this article was interesting. Totally predictable that something like this would happen.
I think it’s mostly this. Basically the entire internet is dominated by 'merica. At least the big message boards like Reddit are. I think it would be pretty hard not to know about Ohio.
Pfft, didn’t even get a trial of lawbros arguing for 3 years
I really wanted to be that she saves the kid at rhe beginning and while trying to run away with the kid but then the kid knocks something out of some other sweater wearing person’s hand.
And then the cops show up and do nothing.
Today I went for a walk in the oldest cemetery in Adelaide. There was a historical self-tour thing with some annotations. Here is a memorial on the grave of a number of men who were killed by indigenous people while constructing the Adelaide - Darwin telegraph line. The details of the altercation are not known. You may detect some slightly… um, outdated and problematic language and sentiments here. I’m a little surprised it hasn’t been replaced. Apparently someone else thought it should be.
Question for Americans.
In Canada, it’s common in most public events to begin by acknowledging the treaty and traditional territory of the indigenous communities you are gathered in.
I’ve never seen this in the US. Has anyone?
I once saw Robin Williams at Mohegan Sun (a casino on tribal lands) and he opened the show by saying “Hi, how are ya? Hi, how are ya” multiple times in a stereotypical Native American accent while dancing around in a circle. Does that count?
Otherwise no.
