Saw a Rolls Royce SUV on the way home from work. The brand somehow doesn’t translate as well into that form as Lamborghini does.

We just watched Our Father on Netflix and it’s fucking wild. A psychopathic narcissist infertility doctor insemminated his patients with his own sperm. Religion makes an appearance as well. I feel like I need a shower now.

I’m completely out on content that makes me feel terrible, I’m maxed out on being aware of awful people
and behavior.

I remember when that story broke. Its fucking wild. What a goddamn psychopath that guy is

I posted this a few weeks ago. Apparently he is far from the only one:

I feel extreme anger

Kentucky is a weird state. I feel the map did at least decently to extend to KY’s top 3 counties, since those are basically Cincinnati. But I feel like the midwestern vibe extends to Lexington and Louisville. After that southern KY is definitely southern. Eastern KY is more whatever West Virginia is. I guess you put western KY into midwestern since that looks like the best fit.

I feel like if you’re going to squeeze in those Kansas and Kentucky counties that are near a big metro area, then you probably have to omit some of the other ones on other borders.

Like those ones in southern Missouri that are touching Tennessee or Oklahoma. I know nothing of them, but would be surprised if they were “Midwest”.

Also in western Minnesota. You can’t tell me that Fargo is not Midwest, but the city across the river is. Either they both are or both aren’t.

I think of the Midwest by states and includes Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio. Missouri is a questionable one, as I think they’re more of a southern state, but they’re just kinda in this weird grey area regarding groupings of this type. North Dakota south to Kansas are the plains.

Just ask if they drink “pop” and you’ll know if you’re in the Midwest.

It is settled law that Missouri is part of the Midwest, as per Nelly, et al.

We’ll take St Louis and KC. They can keep the rest.

Ok seriously what the fuck is the deal with Israel.

The Palestinians made them do it, ldo.

Being an untouchable client state of a powerful empire + your foundation is the result of a deep existential trauma + millennia of persecution + having a pre-prepackaged underclass who look and act different to you and who you feel guilty about taking their land (but can never admit and process the guilt) is gonna mess you up bad.

Speaking for the Midwest, we appreciate the interest, but have to decline at this time. Thank you for your understanding.

At least half of North Dakota through Kansas (meaning half of each state) and parts of Oklahoma are midwest. Nothing in the Central Time zone should be considered “The West”, ever.

Now if you’re doing some dumb 8-region breakdown, then sure. But if its the typical 4-region breakdown - no, Leavenworth Kansas is not in “The West”. That’s just dumb.

The bootheel in MO, and a little region around that is Southern, people have accents. But the rest is pure midwest.
