I mean the scouting report on Burrow isn’t that he can’t throw it through a swinging tire or read coverages, that’s Baker. Burrow’s weaknesses are inability to feel pressure and making one or two terrible decisions per game that result in turnovers. Of course, those are also Baker weaknesses.

It’s week 17 in the NFL season, everyone is playing hurt in some form.
I dunno, maybe? Burrow leads the league in both completion % and YPA which is kind of wild. PFF takes it a step further by removing non-attempt attempts (spikes, throwaways) and grading the ball location relative to target (dimes, on body, uncatchable, etc.). He rates even better in this metric, and they’ve graded him as the #1 QB since W15 before this recent outburst. So maybe he regresses, but in his second season he’s leading many important passing metrics, both standard and advanced, while playing behind one of the legitimately worst pass protections in the league (leads league in both sacks taken (51) and sack yards lost (370)).
It looks like the arm talent is definitely there. So far, he seems to have the ability to read coverages. That can change if teams find a scheme that confuses him, but it shouldn’t change the arm talent. An injury could though, and that’s certainly possible playing behind a shoestring budget offensive line. Also, he’s undoubtedly throwing to an extremely talented WR corps that could lose its dynamic if one of those guys does down.
