I feel like there is a good NFL quarterback inside Fields. Iāve seen him do some very nice things. He was clearly thrown to the wolves too early, though, and the game is moving way too fast for him. Itās kind of a shame that first round QBs are almost automatic starters when they are rookies (I know Dalton was the original starter for the Bears), as some of their careers basically end before they can really begin. I mean, shit, if Aaron Rodgers can sit for three years (granted, he was behind Favre), Fields certainly can.
I donāt think you can solve the game is too fast part, Alex Smith had the same problem. (thereās a huge difference between knowledge and processing speed) but yeah we all knew this would be a disaster.
