I actually think the subtext of Perdue/Loeffler calling for GA SoS resignation is that he unnecessarily made it too easy for Dems to vote. For one he rolled out a website that allowed you to request a mail in vote by clicking two buttons and filling out 4 pieces of info.

Trump is going to soon announce his candidacy for 2024, run a perpetual grift campaign and go around endorsing and stumping for every R that has been sufficiently loyal to him. Makes $$$$, makes him a political martyr if he is ever prosecuted and gives Rs every incentive to continue to protect him.
Mitch and Co. love it because it keeps the Rs that Trump brought to the party engaged and voting R.
