I’m not going to engage much in the media and fuck that narrative. That said, I am going to try to engage with civility and give people the benefit of the doubt for a period of time and see if I can move anyone ideologically. I don’t have high hopes but I want a less polarized country so I have to be willing to try.

I pretty much drink this exclusively now. I’ve tried a lot of other more expensive mescals, and cheaper. But this is the best I can find around LA. Luckily everywhere has it.
The funny thing is in Oaxaca and the surrounding areas you can get 100s of different local mescals for basically the price of the bottle. And they’re all diverse, interesting, and better than anything you get in the states.
There just has to be some way to ship more of that to the US. I actually met a guy in Puebla who started a non-profit to do exactly that.
But so far I don’t know where I need to find it in LA. I tried going to a liquor store that was rated best for mescal on Yelp. They hardly had any and the guy behind the counter literally didn’t seem to know what mescal was. I knew as soon as I pulled up this was just some big rando liquor store that must have gamed the yelp ratings.

Basically we’re done with the “late earlies” which were going for Trump. What’s left is like a random smorgasbord of ballots needing cures and provisionals etc that’s not likely to be heavy for Trump the way the late early and e-day votes were. Plus the final dump from Pinal & Pima came and didn’t do enough either because they mostly cancelled each other (although it brought Biden’s lead back down to 17k again).

Wow, CNN reporting that Trump is going full resistance with attempts to use courts to run out the clock and get states to send alternate slates of electors. I guess we’re still drawing to the nightmare scenarios.
