Good to know. If that’s the case, then he should have instead stated “We expect there to be a recount,” rather than that there certainly will be one, but it’s the most minor of errors. We all know there will be one, and saying that out loud doesn’t really change the probability of that happening.

we just saw what “everybody vote!” messaging got us. It got us a lot more Rs voting too.

This was by far the biggest shock to me of this election.

I’m absolutely floored that Trump is going to end up with like 8 million or so more votes than he had 4 years ago.

That turnout in Texas was what a lot of us have dreamed of for years, and Biden still lost by 6 points.

Who the hell are all these new Trump voters?

There was definitely a little something partisan about the Georgia SoS announcement. I read it as “yeah Biden’ ahead, but it ain’t over yet”.

The other thing is that turnout hurt down ballot because the “independent” unlikely voter who turns out to vote against Trump is less likely to vote straight party line than the ones who turn out for Trump.
