YouTube call out (avoid the comment section!)

Yeah seems like a weird takedown, unless it’s more of a snarky homage?

Nah he’s been shitting on his fans for a while for even having anything slightly negative to say. He also released his memoir that he claimed to be working on for literally decades only for it to be absolutely atrocious.

These days, he doesn’t even play the games he reviews and doesn’t write the scripts. He reads off of a teleprompter every once in a while and that’s it. He’s desperately trying to make a retro video game rock band work now

My Sunday usually consists of watching these folks work on their old homes. I have been watching the first guy, Martijn Doolaard for a few years now and he puts out a high-quality 25+ minute video nearly every Sunday! No idea how much help he gets behind the scenes. These other channels have varying quality but still interesting.

Also recently stumbled on these Project Kamp folks which seem to have a whole community which is pretty interesting.

Suffice to say, it’s got me thinking about taking one of wiper’s money pills and fucking right off to make a Youtube channel.

Saw the podcast thread and it made me realize how much more time I spend watching YT than any other form of media, notably long form content

A shoutout for Super Eyepatch Wolf is always a good thing. Dude is making the best content on youtube right now.

This video legit fucked me up mentally for the day.

If you have any social anxiety, I’d avoid watching it.

Oh whoops, yes, I am bad at trigger warnings but basically every SEW video has something that will trigger somebody so heed the warnings he gives at the beginning of his videos.

Sorry about that.
