That will be awful. If we can maintain 4-team groups somehow, then it could work, but not if some 3rd place teams advance. Not sure there’s a great solution for a 48-team field.

First half wasn’t bad tbf. Ecuador taking it easy which I think is a big mistake for them. There best chance of progressing is getting a draw somewhere and it coming down to GD for 2nd place.
Both Senegal and especially the Dutch should rip these to shreds
