With Xordle, the given word is sometimes connected to the words you need to get.
Yeah, but using strategy is secondary to just mashing in the first word that comes to mind.
lol,I know that the two words were often connected but never realized the given word is too, sometimes. I don’t like that
Had no idea that was a thing for Xordle. I spend the first 3 or 4 guesses just trying to get as many letters as possible on the board or eliminated.
Yeah, that’s my strategy too, but if you take eyebooger’s factor into account, those two words happen to be very good (but prob not best) for knocking out a bunch of common letter.

Disaster on Fibble. They gave me greens in the fourth position on the first two words for two different letters. Turns out neither was correct.

Yeah, I got green and yellow on the same letter, so it led me astray thinking that letter was there. Then when I got the 2nd and 4th positions locked in, there were enough words that fit the pattern that I couldn’t rule out different combinations of lies. I think I got lucky at the end, because there were more possibilities.

yep took me until guess four to realize I was wrong about I being the fourth letter. After that it was just figuring out which of the 50000 five letter words that end in ER it was

I recommend accidentally getting two other letters locked at the same time you lock in that -ER.
