Do people frequently use words that differ by only one letter? I’ve been doing it frequently of late, and it’s working great. I opened FIGHT and MIGHT, and the conflicting information on I and H made it pretty clear where the lies were and what info I could trust.

Fibble irritates me so I don’t play it, but I do something similar with Word500. I usually open with NYMPH and if I get a hit I’ll try PYGMY or HYMNS to try and isolate it. I find being dead certain of 1 letter (or completely eliminating 5) is more helpful than being vague about multiple.
Weird thing happened to me on fibble today. I was marking a square as a possible lie and somehow while I was doing it, the little dotted lines came up around the square (like they would when the answer is revealed), so it was confirming my guess before I completed the puzzle. Anyone know what’s up with that?
Nope. Never had that happen
It was weird. It flashed for a couple of seconds and then went away. I had kind of laid my hand down on my keyboard funny, so I wonder if I accidentally pressed a button that unlocks this feature. I tried for about a minute to reproduce it and I was not successful.

Fun a couple of times, but I don’t see myself adding chessle in the rotation.
Second time I’ve gotten all 3 Word500 puzzles in a day. This has become my favorite variant.

I fully expected my sixth guess to be right. Imagine my surprise when it gave me four grays. On the bright side, I was able to nearly definitively narrow a ton of stuff down
Not sure if everyone is aware of this, but if you get one Huh? in xordle you get a tenth guess. And if you get it in 10, it’s still counted as a win in your stats. However if you get two Huh?s, you still only get one extra guess. I’m assuming that’s not a glitch. I’ve only had each happen exactly once.
