Completely forgot that nerdle follows order of operations and was frustrated for several minutes because there was no possible solution.
They were beak, nose, and snout, respectively. So of course being that close to 1000 I was super confident I just had to find other “nasal” synonyms, wasted a dozen guesses and walked away for a while.

Same. Took me a lot longer to come up with the solution while I ruled out every other combination of numbers and operations.
