My Dordle strategy is clearly suboptimal. I pick the same four words almost every time and then that gives me 3 guesses to figure them out. However, it is a pretty mindless approach.
Gonna need to retire from Dordle after this as I doubt I’ll ever do better.

I think it helps to switch. In the most basic strategic case you can narrow one word down to where there are only a few options. It’s a waste at that point to focus on getting that word through trial and error when you could make progress on the other word using letters that will help narrow down the first. When you’re not particularly close on either word the considerations become much more complex, and I can think of exceptions, but generally I think you want to guess at the word you know less about, and if you’re guessing well that’s going to entail swapping back and forth a lot.
