Can someone explain this fibble to me? If the answer is TEMPT, shouldn’t the second M in TUMMY be yellow? A lot of my guesses after that don’t make sense, since I was thrown off by the apparent contradiction.
Fibble’s lie square can be either of the two possible lies, and the second M is true. I think that if there is a single yellow letter when you use two of the same, its ascribed to the first of the two.
Somehow I’ve been playing this game for months and have never come across this. Seems like they should put it in the rules somewhere.
I use a different starting word every day, just for kicks.
It’s sub-optimal for solving the puzzle, of course, but today it paid off
