I think its time to revise the draft with Corona quarantining us. Let’s just remove guillotine from the title and make it worst people in USA politics draft

Can we at least title the thread “The firing squad” or something similar?

I nominate “people I wouldn’t walk across the street to piss on if they were on fire”.

this is a fair compromise

I never am fully sure if people are serious, but I think the “appetite” for such a thread definitely exists especially, as pointed out above, when many of us are quarantined (and maybe without an adequate supply of toilet paper).

I don’t need cash personally, but it seems like nearly everything is slowly grinding to a halt. Airline travel, hotel stays, bars, restaurants, any sort of “event”, like it’s all going to stop. How is the market not at 0? And not like actual zero, but sooooooo many businesses are going to straight up disappear in the next few weeks. So many people can’t survive without paychecks. We’ve known this was coming for two whole months. I feel like I’m taking crazy pills.

Edit: If I had to guess, and I’m just some fucking loser on the internet, so it doesn’t count for anything, but congress needs to pass something like a 1/2 to 1 trillion direct cash injection to like working class people right now. Otherwise really bad stuff is going to happen.

Also, the fact that we’ve spent the last few decades creating a world where young people are all on the brink of homelessness and forced to stay home and do nothing while seniors are all flush and traveling the world and living their best lives is kinda darkly hilarious. Like oh shit you accidentally did the exact wrong thing and you knew it was wrong but you did it anyway

I’m sure the finance industry will be more than happy to lend enough money to get us all through this, at 28% interest, not dischargeable in bankruptcy.

There were actually 4 Koch brothers but the good news is we’re down to 1 good one and 1 bad one, and the bad one turns 85 this year.

I’m up for a coronavirus draft.

It avoids the problem with the guillotine draft in that it doesn’t necessarily involve the draft pick dying while having the benefit of knowing that person is likely to get others around them sick with it too.

My youtube feed decided to suggest all the John Mulaney videos available from the last 5 years. Being sick and finding him somewhat amusing I clicked on most.

How come there is literally no mention ever of his super-extra-wtf-failure of a self titled sitcom? The guy has like 500 talk show appearances, 30 minute long interviews, hour long in-depth interviews, full story of his career and nothing. Did he go MiB thingy on everyone? I mean his humor is self-deprecating anyway, way not embrace that period?

I saw some Netflix special he did and found it forgettable.

Stand-up is a really hard profession. Aren’t a whole lot of good ones out there imo

Carlin GOAT

New in Town is great polished comedy. Big Mouth is great. Everything else Mulaney he does is dreadful. I just hate the high school musical theatre kid energy and his old man shtick is cringeworthy.

George Carlin feels a bit outdated now. I mean he’s still great but that edge is the norm rather than something unique.

Never heard of Sadowitz though. Better or worse than Frankie Boyle?
