That is NOT what we were discussing. I wish you some sort of peace, Vic. For you to choose to use this as yet another opportunity to dunk on someone in the middle of what we were discussing makes you a part of the very thing you’re fighting against. And I am guessing this speaks to a great deal of turmoil within you.
That is all I will say to you. Good luck with everything.
Live podcasts in general are the worst, you’d think people who work entirely in an audio medium would know how to record themselves talking or at least have someone around who does but nope, enjoy this podcast you have to crank to max volume to hear the hosts whisper and then have your ears destroyed by the crowd response. Looking at you, The Dollop.
Just got back from the hospital with my mom and her surgery. It was a difficult process, but the surgery went well. My mom is a difficult person and patient. I’m not going to get into details, but I will comment that the importance of bedside manner, for some people, is hard to overstate. Literally the difference between managing and agony, between Tylenol and Fentanyl is made by whether people look at her when they talk to her, tell her what they are going to do before they do it, I mean ask her if it’s ok to do something to her, and not talk about her like she’s not there right in front of her.
Glad to hear the surgery went well. How are the recovery prospects? Should we get an Unstuck get well card together??? Dear micromom from the entire Unstuck team
Thanks. 6 weeks to “heal”. She’s 77 years old and the reason she ended up with a broken ankle is because walking around wasn’t that easy for her in the first place. Hopefully she will get back to that point after some physical therapy, which hopefully she’ll do.
Not really, around Thanksgiving last year they were in the US and had some fun at our expense, but over all it is a really consistent show. If you like one you’ve got a few hundred more to look forward to…
