In America it pays to have restraint, these people that provoke confrontations are quick to sue if you actually touch them.
Also vocal MAGA types are reasonably likely to get violent, and they usually have nothing to lose.

Depends.
Old Trumpers tend to have a lot of money and through that influence. They can buy some solid lawyers to bully middle class people who have the misfortune of using a public defender.
Young Trumpers are probably packing heat. Either way, it’s wise to show restraint even if it would be cathartic to knock them unconscious.

Nah. I’m past my 30s and longing for the good old days. Things are good now, but it’s a different kind of good. The thing I notice the most is that I was in much better shape then with half the effort.
When I went to the gym in my 30s my main concern was making progress. Now my main concern is not getting hurt. Getting the olds sucks.

I’ve got the first two in the win column. Having that wisdom allows you understand everything so much better. It’s like you’re Neo and you’ve figured out the Matrix.
As far as the third, I think that’s largely a function of if/when you have kids. I had them later, so I didn’t feel any “obligation to grind”.
