When I was in grad school I had a friend who worked for an advertising agency, one of whose clients was McDonalds. Something like 35% of McDonalds’ business was from daily eaters, who were referred to as “super heavy users.”

It’s truly incredible that her account of her experience is basically “I Spearheaded an Expansive Effort to Put an Unreformed Sociopathic Murderer (I think? not stated but seems likely) Back on the Streets” and her takeaway is that she’s the victim. And we need a law to protect people from unreformed sociopathic murderers! Lady, the plan was to put them in jail!

Boomer at my nice local brewpub is befuddling the waiter by ordering a Black and Tan, what’s my play?
Waiter is confused as to what a Black and Tan is, Boomer doesn’t understand why they don’t have Guinness and Harp on hand.
It’s only a real Guinness if it’s drunk in Ireland anyways pal

Does second waiter know what a black and tan is? Does the brewpub have an appropriate stout and ale or lager that can be combined to make one?
I’m a tail end Boomer whose go to brew in an Irish pub is a Black and Tan.
But I’d never assume a non-Irish pub would have either on tap.
