Doing all that work with green wood means 90% of everything in that video will be a warped and useless piece of trash in a couple years.

1 hour utoob? lol no. I watched the first couple minutes and skipped around.
Because if you had, you’d know he cuts the wood, puts it in his cabin for like a year or more, and then finishes it.
Video is awesome. Only thing that would improve it is if it were a 2 hour utoob.
I saw a lot of thick timbers that would take several years at a minimum to air dry.
They’re all fallen trees. Don’t know how much that matters. But the whole project, cabin and everything, is like 8 or 9 years in so far and he talks about checking the wood and reworking it from year to year.

Thanks. Interesting, but I think I’ve missed my chance to get that far into it. If I were nuts like that maybe I’d reclaim the wood from the house I’m in before they tear it down and use that to build a cabin in the woods.
