Is the Afghan army even willing to fight? Seems unreal to me how easy the Taliban capture bigger cities and the military is running away. At some point they have to realize there is no more room to retreat just now you also dont have any room to supply the capital. When I read a little about the history yesterday I read about a guy Ahmad Schah Massoud – Wikipedia who seemed to be a pretty reasonable muslim and was a glimmer of hope for this country. Unfortunately he got killed 2 days before 9/11.

But anyway, the story we got here was that Bin Laden was behind the assassination because he wanted to ensure the Taliban were solidly on his side when the shit hit the fan.

It’s that damn split second decision. I went to the departures side at SFO to pick up my friend because hey - he’s DEPARTING the airport. Then I cursed myself, had to take the big loop around to get back in, saw the decision sign, and did it again.

People who are smarter than me in things that require smartness -
My car’s AC periodically stops working during like peak hot weather. It works fine most of the time and always during morning/evening. I went to some auto repair place but it worked during the time and there so they changed the filters or some bullshit charged me 100 bucks and nothing changed.
Any clue other than buying a new one?
What kind of car? Think the answer changes based on the type of AC in play. When I owned an older car I would have to use something like this once in awhile.

This has been happening with me. I didn’t believe my wife until it happened to me. I turn it off and flip all the knobs and buttons around. Sometimes that works. It’s super annoying and random.
It works 100% of the time until it doesn’t. I spent 25 minutes on the highway now with all the windows open at 105 degrees :(((

IF it gets cold usually it’s not the refrigerant. Can buy some and try it’s not expensive.
